Google outlines plan for extensions in Chrome

One of the features that is noticeably missing from the current version of Google Chrome is what Firefox calls #8220;Add-ons#8221;. These programs are written by developers looking to add functionality to browsers #8212; which can be very useful things like Greasemonkey and NoScript.

Microsoft still fighting a losing battle against Google

New Comscore data was released today which clearly shows how Google#8217;s search share is continuing to rise, and despite Microsoft#8217;s best efforts (even giving away prizes to searchers), they are at best stagnant. Year-over-year, Microsoft#8217;s search share went from 9.7% down to 8.5% while Google rose from 58.5% to 63.1% according to the research.
